The History of United Arab Emirates. As we all know that UAE is a Gulf Country and the climate of the UAE generally is very hot. Today UAE is a very Big Business hub in the world and the UAE is connected to many major country of world. Traders and Investors wanted to get grow there business faster and many of them prefer to connect with United Arab Emirates for there success. In today’s the United Arab Emirates is a modern, oil exporting country with a highly diversified economy in the world and in this post we are going to share with you The History of UAE (United Arab Emirates) and we will know that how United Arab Emirates grown faster in the world.

In the present United Arab Emirates is consists of seven emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras al Khaimah). On 2 December 1971 consists of Six emirates founded UAE and seventh, Ras al Khaimah joined the federation on 10 February 1972. These Emirates were formerly known as the Trucial States. Currently the Abu Dhabi is the capital of United Arab Emirates.
‘Magan people’ those are also known to the ‘Sumerians’ were trading with coastal towns and bronze miners at there time. In the 7th Century, after Ridda Wars the area became Islamised at that time.

British Government & Independence of UAE:

In 1966 the British Government said that it could no longer afford to govern the area and on 16 January 1968 the British PM Harold Wilson announced to end the treaty relationships with the 7 Trucial Sheikhdoms. In this year the British people withdraw there involvement in the Trucial States and at that time Rulers of Abu Dhabi and Dubai agreed with that decision to found a Federation. On December 1, 1971 British-Trucial Sheikhdoms treaty was expired and 6 Trucial states decided to join in signing the UAE’s founding treaty on December 2, 1971.

Oil Business:

In present the UAE is an oil exporting country but that take time to get this position. In 1930s, 1st oil company carried out preliminary surveys of Petroleum Development. In the Persian Gulf at Umm Shaif, in 1958 the oil was discovered.

In 1974 a dispute was was finally settled by an agreement ‘Treaty of Jeddah’ between Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

UAE Relation with United States:

In 9/11 terrorist attacks on the US some people bank account identified as a financial supporter for Al-Qaeda. The UAE immediately cooperated with the US and freez all accounts those were suspected. In 1994 the UAE signed a military defense agreement with the United States.

Politics:

UAE’s first president, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was died on 2 November 2004 and his eldest son, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, succeeded him as ruler of Abu Dhabi.
UAE prepared for its first election in December 2006 to determine half members of UAE’s Federal National Council from 450 candidates. In this election the 1% of the Emirati population, were given the right to vote in this election.

Developments:

Since formation of UAE, major world records were made by country in the developments area. For example ‘Palm Jumeirah‘ artificial archipelago in the UAE, tallest building in the world ‘Burj Khalifa‘ with 829.8 m height, 356 m tall ‘Gevora Hotel‘ and ‘Burj Al Arab‘ height of 280 m, which is a luxury hotel stands on an artificial island.
